Description
B27 Supplement (50X, Serum-free), also known as B27 Supplement, B-27 supplement, B27 additive, or B27 serum-free additive, is an optimized neuronal cell culture supplement widely used to support the growth and differentiation of hippocampal neurons and other central nervous system (CNS) neurons, ensuring their short-term or long-term viability.
B27 Supplement (50X, Serum-free) is provided in a 50X liquid form and is compatible with Neurobasal and Neurobasal-A media for normal neuronal cell culture, growth, and differentiation without the need for an astrocyte feeder layer.
This product, B27 Supplement (50X, Serum-free), undergoes strict quality control and sterile filtration. It is serum-free and composed of high-quality antioxidants and various cytokines involved in neuronal survival, synapse maturation, and neurite extension. This formulation is of the highest quality, enabling efficient culture of various neuron types while enhancing their survival in long-term culture conditions.

Storage
Store at -20ºC, with a shelf life of two years.
