Description
DNA recombination technology allows for the addition of specific tags to target proteins, and the expressed fusion proteins can be detected using tag-specific antibodies, greatly facilitating scientific research. Common protein tags include myc, HA, Flag, His, and GST, among which the Flag tag is small in molecular weight and has minimal impact on the activity and intracellular localization of the fusion protein.
Our Flag antibodies can detect Flag tags (DYKDDDDK) located at the N-terminus, Met-N-terminus, C-terminus, or within the internal regions of fusion proteins. They are widely used for studying the expression, intracellular localization, as well as for the purification, qualitative, or quantitative analysis of Flag-tagged fusion proteins.
