• Product Description: AEBSF is a broad-spectrum, irreversible serine protease inhibitor.

• In Vitro Studies: AEBSF inhibits the production of Aβ components by directly inhibiting β-secretase in various human cell lines, including neuronal and non-neuronal cells. As a serine protease inhibitor, AEBSF inhibits the lysis of leukemia cells by human macrophages without inhibiting the secretion of TNF-α and IL-1β in macrophages. AEBSF also disrupts the growth of blastocysts in the uterine endometrium and inhibits the adhesion of HeLa cells to HUVECs by altering protein secretion mechanisms.
• In Vivo Studies: AEBSF (76.8 mg/kg per day, intraperitoneal injection) extends the survival of mice with lethal injection of Toxoplasma gondii. AEBSF also reduces respiratory reactions and potential inflammation in a mouse model of cockroach-induced allergy.
