Description
2-NBDG can enter cells via glucose transporters and is phosphorylated by hexokinase, causing it to be retained within the cells. It is a fluorescently labeled glucose analog (λex=467nm, λem=542nm) used for directly monitoring glucose uptake activity in live cells and tissues, commonly used in glucose uptake experiments.
