Recombinant Human Fibronectin from Oryza sativa (OsrhFN)
Description
Fibronectin is a high molecular weight (~450 kDa) glycoprotein found in the extracellular matrix, composed of two subunits of approximately 220 kDa connected by interchain disulfide bonds. It is widely distributed in body tissues and has various applications in life science research, such as serving as a substrate for cell culture, improving cell adhesion, enhancing metabolic levels, and reducing cell growth time. Additionally, it can be directly added to culture media to promote cell growth, proliferation, and maintain optimal cell conditions.
OsrhFN is a recombinant human fibronectin derived from rice endosperm cells. Compared to fibronectin sourced from animals, it is free from animal-derived components and poses no risk of viral contamination, offering better batch-to-batch stability.
